So, I made something awesome. 

I wrote a book, or rather an illustrated poem... in the style of a graphic novel... a Graphic Poem,  if you will... and I want to share it with you! 

I occasionally travel for work. One of the things I do while sitting in an aisle seat is write poetry and song lyrics.  On one occasion, a little over a year ago, I wrote a poem to my sons, Myles and Mason, about becoming a man. I knew that getting a couple of teenagers to actually read the work and engage with me in a conversation about growing up would be challenging. So I sat with it... and after a while...  I realized, they, like many young gamers, are in to comics, manga, and anime... perfect!  I’ll put the poem to pictures! 

I am extremely proud of how everything came together... 109 panels of illustrations over 21 pages.  I feel like the past 10 years of learning to draw and honing my craft have culminated to this moment and this work, titled “What Kind of Man?”. 

I think you will love reading this book so much that you will want copies to give to the young men in your life as gifts for Christmas, Valentines, graduation, birthdays or just as a way to say “I love you”.
